Last day

Though Andrew has one final next Tuesday, his last day at the hospital ("hostipul" in Ceilidh pronunciation, "pul pul" in Graeme language) is TODAY!!!! I am so proud of him! I will make this a short post as A. he really gets frustrated when I write about him (ha) and B. I don't want to be "that" wife who over exaggerates his accomplishments b/c that is annoying. But, this season in his/our life is definitely noteworthy, whether or not I am "that" wife for a week or so!

Yesterday, his supervisor and co-workers gave him a farewell party and invited us to attend. Ceilidh LOVED going to Daddy's unit, and Graeme LOVED walking across the suspended bridge b/c five "bue buses" passed underneath just on a walk from the garage to the cancer hospital. I enjoyed meeting some of the people I have heard about for the last year, as well has hearing their genuine praise of Andrew's character, work ethic, and way with patients. I had three different people tell me word for word, " Andrew is a great guy that we are sad to see go." I was one proud wife the whole day!

To make the day even better; we walked away with probably two days worth of meals from Flying Burrito. Can you say, yum?!!!! If you have a hankering for mexican, come on over! Revisions to his research paper and a final on Tuesday are the only thing that stand between him and 'pomp and circumstance!' You can do it, Andrew!
