Cuteness cube

We have some funny kiddos!

Yesterday, Ceilidh found an old dollar store game I had bought to keep her busy when Graeme was born. She was doing a great job of sounding out words on the cards. But then she started totally blowing me away, as I realized she has quite a few sight words. Most of them were the normal cat, dog, hat, spoon, yadda, yadda. I don't know if I should be proud or embarrassed though, as she blurts out, "I know that one too, momma! It's pizza!" ha We just might eat a little too much pizza around here! wink

We have heard Ceilidh do it through the years, but recently Graeme has started talking in "book speak." At least that is what we call it. When he is creating imaginative play, he makes story lines for his trains/toys/whatever that include talking like a book. ha
Ex: "Percy says, 'Your my best friend.'" "Thomas said yadda yadda" " Yadda yadda, said Thomas." And usually instead of 'said,' it is 'sayed,' but I know what he means! ha It is pretty funny.

This morning I guess he felt like Jane was getting left out, so he asked me if I could make chocolate mommy milk! It is a pretty reasonable question I guess. HA

Speaking of Jane-0 as she is affectionately called around here; she is already practicing for the role of Arabian in the Nutcracker! wink

Then she decided exercising was for the birds, and thought a snack was more appealing! wink
