Beach 2013

I told myself I wasn't going to let it happen..... and I have. I told myself I wasn't going to give up on the blog if I reactivated my FB account. I am not ready to call it quits here just yet, so I will throw up a few of our Beach trip pictures from this year. We had a wonderful time! It was probably the first year since having children that I actually felt somewhat rested when the week was over, and slightly ready to jump back into the mix of 'real' life.

I feel the sting of babyhood leaving our home, every day as Jane becomes more and more a little (big) girl. It is painful, yet exciting. I actually sat down in a beach chair for more than 5 minutes while they all played TOGETHER. They have all gotten to ages where they can play well and the water doesn't knock them over with every wave. I wasn't concerned about a baby getting too much sun, or sand, or nursing on the beach. So, where it was sad not to have a cute little baby experiencing the beach for the first time; I really enjoyed the freedom of less worry. Oh, and let's not forget. The older they get, the more they can help carry to and fro.... like themselves! HA

We spent the week at Ocean Isle, NC and traveled over to Bald Head Island one day to visit Ryan and Susanna. We really did have a great week!
