Fun in the Sun 2014

It is hard to believe another beach trip has come and gone. I wish I had a penny for every time I have heard, "I wish we were still at the beach," this past week! Ha Our children love the beach almost as much as we do! ;) This particular year was even more special than years past, as we celebrated Randy's 60th birthday while we were there. His one request to Suzanne was to have his bday dinner on the beach at sunset. It was beautiful and a lot of fun. We ate dinner, played some hilarious games thanks to Susanna, went on a crab hunt, and then listened to Randy tell a 'bedtime' story from the series he used to make up for the younger girls when they were little. It really was a neat evening.

The rest of the week was filled with lots and lots of water, sand, water, a jellyfish sting, water, putt putt, water, seafood, oh and did I mention water. ;) All three of ours BEGGED to be in the water the entire day! I have always loved this about them, but it is exhausting. HA Thankfully, Ceilidh and Graeme have gotten big enough to handle jumping waves by themselves for the most part. Jane-o is still quite a bit of work when she is deeper than her knees, but it was worth the work to see her enjoy the water so much. She really loved playing in the pools made by low tide with Jack. Jane and Jack are pretty good buddies! :)

There were sweet moments, wonderful conversations, and deliciously cold sodas I could write about, but it would be a l.o.n.g. post! ha I will let the pictures tell our story!

Somebody was excited! :)

A jelly fish decided to wrap Ceilidh's leg from her ankle to her bathing suit. :(

She crawled up next to him to share a snack and watch a show.  ;)
