Happy Father's Day (a little late! ha)

Sorry for the extreme lateness of this Father's Day wish. It has no correlation to how much I love the Fathers in my life! Ceilidh and Graeme have no idea at this point in their sweet little lives, how incredibly blessed they are to have Andrew as their father. I love how we are learning how to do this thing called parenting together, but I also love how I learn so much from just watching him. He has WAY more patience and even gentleness than I do at times. I was hooked after an impromptu lunch on February 14th, 2002; thinking he couldn't get more desirable for me. But I love him even more as I now have him as a husband, and as I watch him love and nurture our children.

I am also incredibly thankful for my own father. He is one of a kind! Congratulations on your (2nd) retirement!!! I am so proud of you and the amazing work ethic you have shown us your whole life. I love you Daddy!

After seeing my dad on Saturday, we got to see Randy C. on Sunday at Jack's christening. I am also thankful for Randy, as Andrew didn't just morph into a good father. He had to learn it from somewhere! wink Jack's christening was a really neat experience. Lauren and Randy T. shared the day with one of Lauren's friends from infancy. Suzanne and Sheila (friends from high school), were pregnant with Lauren and Sarah at the same time. The girls grew up together and were in each other's weddings, as well as now have boys ~10 months apart. Jack and Jacob were christened at the same time. My other favorite part of the day (besides the chicken salad, Lauren! wink), was his christening gown. It was the same gown Lauren wore at her christening, and the gown has both of their names and dates of birth stitched along the bottom. It is really beautiful. It was a great weekend!
