Happy Thanksgiving!!! I hope everyone had a wonderful day yesterday! Before I share some cutie pictures of the kiddos, I want to send out a HUGE congratulations to Chase, Leigh, and Natalie on the addition of Nicholas to the Blanton Family!!! Leigh is a wonderful friend, and is actually one of the few that have taken care of my children. You know you are pretty special if I let you watch my kids! wink Nick is adorable, and I am so thrilled for them and this Turkey baby!!!
As I write this, I am about to start on Thanksgiving "round 3" preparations. ha Unfortunately, my brother was sent literally across the country for almost a year to complete some training. Great timing 5 weeks after his 5th child was born, one day before his second child's birthday, and two days before Thanksgiving, huh?! My dad decided to drive out to San Diego with Chris; so my mom and Mikayla came to our immediate family celebration Wednesday evening. We had a great visit Tuesday and Wednesday even though I didn't get any pictures. UGH! My camera batteries weren't charged Tuesday and then I was busy cooking Wednesday. If I were rich and famous, I think I would hire a photographer for big events and Holidays so I would always make sure to get pictures! ha
Anyway..... "round 1" turned out well other than my dressing. frown I made a fatal mistake with my cornmeal, but at least the turkey was pretty delicious! "Round 2" happens at Nana's house on Thursday. I wasn't too sad about my dressing b/c I got the original at Nanas! ha Jane got to meet Aunts, Uncles, and cousins for the first time which was fun. Two of Andrew's pre-teen cousins were literally timing each other as they passed Jane back and forth! ha "Round 3" will be happening this evening at Pops and ZZ's house. Ceilidh has asked me 5 thousand times when she is going to see Zion! When we called him last night, he told me his mommy was making a turkey that was a big as Phoenix! ha He is one funny kid! Suzanne is a wonderful cook and they have lined up childcare for dessert time so that we can enjoy a few minutes together without distractions. I am very excited for tonight!!!! I need to finish the pies, so I will leave you with these pictures, and more to follow after tonight!
Happy Thanksgiving 2011!!!!!
The man that I have gotten Christmas trees from since I was Ceilidh's age; gave our kids a small tree for their playroom. They L.O.V.E. the tree! ha Can't you tell by Ceilidh's hug?! wink

Thanks Cyndy! We had a pretty eventful Thanksgiving, that's for sure. And you'd better believe I managed to get my homemade Turkey meal in, too! Sat there in the bed I delivered Nick in with my tupperware meal :)
