Happy 23rd Bday Susanna Ryan Clendenin! This Saturday, the whole family was in on a plan to surprise Sus with a bday party. All week, Caitlin, Suzanne, Ryan, and I were conspiring to get Susanna up to Chapel Hill and somehow up the BH hill to the community house where the entire family would be! The final plan went down like this: Caitlin and Susanna took some semi-professional pictures on Saturday afternoon... Ryan drove up and met us at BH... Caitlin watched the children (so she could decorate) so Andrew and I could get coffee with Ryan and Susanna... On the way home from coffee, Caitlin calls to tell us Ceilidh has a bday surprise for Susanna at the new sandbox behind the community house (exaggerated truth about the new sandbox! ha)... Everyone shouts, "Happy Birthday!" as we come around the back of the house! Ceilidh had practiced all day... she was so excited she couldn't stand it. ha I think Susanna was legitimately surprised and everyone had a great time celebrating her, and getting together with each other! I LOVE surprises(and Susanna! wink), so this was super fun for me!
