Yes, she is learning!

Ceilidh has LOVED preschool, including everything that "school" involves. She loves her friends, the CRAFTS, snacks, circle time (ie: story time), playground, EVERYTHING! I got to wondering though, is she really retaining anything that they talk about. I would probably continue to send her even if she wasn't "learning" anything, just b/c she enjoys it so much.

A couple of weeks ago, the class was talking about dinosaurs and volcanos. She really got into this week, much to my surprise. One day this week, we were discussing all the dinosaurs she had been talking about; and Andrew started talking about how tall brontosaurus must have been. My curiosity about her retention was answered when she confidently blurts out, "Da da, they were herbivores!" (For those of you who know her intimately, this was in her "Duh, don't you know that" sort of voice! ha) We both looked at each other and laughed. I don't think I knew that word until third grade! ha I'm so glad she having a great time, plus learning at preschool.

Side note: I have some super cute pictures, but my computer is still being dumb, and I can't load them. frown Hopefully soon I will have it figured out.
