Lost in their own world

I love how C and G can get lost in their own little world these days. With year two just around the corner for Graeme (a month and a half away!!!!), he has started conversing really well. For a while now, he has known exactly what you are saying to him, but his vocabulary in the last couple of months has exploded. He will know carry on a full conversation with you, and specifically with Ceilidh. I listen in to their conversations while they are playing all the time b/c I love to hear what they have to say to each other.

Tonight at the grocery store, Andrew picked up a treat of chocolate pudding for them. Ceilidh was so excited she could barely contain herself and literally devoured her dinner so she could eat some! ha While I was cooking though, C and G were sitting at the table coloring waiting for dinner and I overheard this:

C: "You know we are having chocolate pudding for dessert Graeme!"
G: "UH-HUH!"
C: "I could eat chocolate pudding every day of my life!" (Can you guess who my sweet-aholic is?!"
G: "Me too! And dot-dogs (hotdogs) too!"

While they were eating dessert, Andrew and I were talking about the things that our mothers did and did not buy when we were young. After licking her cup clean; Ceilidh quips, "If I were a mommy I would buy chocolate pudding every time I went to the store!" Hilarious!
