May fun

I know I will be eating my words the next Holiday, but I could get used to this hospital schedule. Working in a hospital, he doesn't get automatic time off around the Holidays (except for Christmas Day and maybe Thanksgiving). That being said, he is able to earn a fair amount of PTO, and then make his own "days off" schedule. What is nice about that, is that we can take a random Tuesday and just have fun! Which is exactly what we did this past Tuesday! He has been wanting to take C and G to Pullen park in Raleigh for a while now, since they have a train you can ride around the park. Of course, I charged my camera but then left it in the car! ugh  We ate lunch at the largest and fanciest Chick fila I have ever seen in my life. I mean, it has an elevator for people, and for food! ha Then we played for awhile at the park riding the train, the carosuel, playing in the dirt, on the playground, etc. My awesome husband then swung us by a TARGET (oh, how I miss thee!)!!! At that point, we just decided to stick around campus and eat dinner on the quad. Armadillo to be exact... how I miss thee as well! ha We had a great day even if we were all exhausted. I snapped just a few pictures on the quad before we left.

"Why am I stuck in this thing, while they get to run around?!" ha

                                                           Saying hi to Kenan's tree

                                                              Hilarious and sweet!

Both Ceilidh and Graeme have had sweet moments today that I have to share!  Andrew and I are attending a wedding of a college friend this weekend, and ALL THREE kiddos are hanging out with Pops and ZZ for a while on Saturday. This will be the first time I have left Jane, which I am totally ok with; other than I am nervous about her not taking a bottle. EKKK..... If anyone can get her to do it though, it would be ZZ; so here's hoping for a good evening for them! ha All that to say, Ceilidh has asked me several times today how many more days until the wedding. Finally, I started asking her questions and began reassuring her that she would be fine and loves to hang out with P and Z without us. She says back to me, " Mommy, I know! I am trying to figure out when I need to pack my sleeping bag!" HA Well..... guess I know how I rank around here! wink

Graeme can be an intense little joker these days, but he is overall exceptionally sweet. There isn't a day that goes by that you don't hear him telling Jane at some point, "I love you, Jane-o!"  This morning after I changed her out of her pjs, I overheard him telling her, "You are so beautiful in your butterfly dress!" So SWEET!!!!
