The end of a good week

This is the first weekend since Zion started coming over in the mornings, and Ceilidh wasn't sure how to handle this morning without Zi i here. She spent the first 30 minutes calling "Zi i" even after repeatedly telling her he wasn't coming. They really are having a great time together. Yesterday our big outing was to the playground across the street which Ceilidh calls the "pay pace" (play place) and Zion calls the Pak (park). Ceilidh got so excited she literally laid down on the ground and started rolling around. Zion kept running circles around the play area.... again, and again, and again! ha

Zion and Ceilidh are roughly the same age (4 months apart), and they both were born with Clendenin heritage. At this point, the similarities end! ha The other day I was walking them to the duck lake and someone actually asked me if they were twins. hahaha I mean come on. I know they look around the same age, but Zion has blonde curly hair with blue eyes and Ceilidh has brown straight as a stick hair with hazel eyes. They are both equally lovable, just on the completely opposite ends of the spectrum in just about every aspect of their little lives.

Zion is the most laid back child I have ever met. He is very gentle and very sweet. He has a huge vocabulary, and sings ALL the time (absolutely adorable), but really doesn't jibber jabber all the time. Zion will sleep between 3 and 4 hours every afternoon even after going to bed at 8. Amazing! Ceilidh on the other hand, has the most energy I have ever experienced in a child. She is very compassionate and sweet as well, but the kiss or hug is short lived b/c she is off to the next thing! ha She talks incessantly and I have to beg her to sleep for 2 hours in the afternoon. Though she wears me out every once in awhile, I love her spunkiness!

Here are just a few pictures from yesterday:
