This picture shows you how much Ceilidh is a mess, and she knows it! This pretty much sums her up, but here are a few specific hilarious moments.
So, the other night getting out of the bathtub, Ceilidh passed gas. She looked at me with eyes wide with shock and said, "Gash." HAHA She adds a sh to every word that ends with S, so imagine my laughter and shock when she knew the word "gas," and then mispronounced it as "gash." She has really started talking up a storm and even putting phrases together. It is REALLY sweet and Andrew and I love waiting to hear what is going to come out of her mouth next.
Ceilidh loves hats, jackets, and the Carolina Tarheels (we are trying to raise her well! wink) Because of this love of hats, she tries to make EVERYTHING into a hat; even Carolina popcorn buckets! This afternoon we were watching a football game, and Ceilidh decided to create a hat, stand on the couch, and scream "D,D,D!" (obviously for defense) and "Go TarTeels!" We are working on the h in heels. haha
This morning, I was talking to Ceilidh about Christmas and pulled out my Nutcracker for her to look at. Well, apparently Nutcracker has not been potty trained and has a bit of "gash" himself, b/c I was asked to put a diaper on him and give him Mylecon! ha She literally grabbed a diaper and said, "Cracker, diaper." She then took the Mylecon and put the bottle in his mouth. I don't know if this is a developmental stage, b/c everything has recently been treated like it is a living organism. When I say everything, I mean everything from baby doll (understandable) to her sippie cup (she was feeding her sippie bananas this morning)! Whatever is going through her cute little head, it is pretty funny to watch from my perspective.
After diapering Nutcracker and reading some books, I went to the kitchen to get some water. When I got back, she was no where in sight. I started calling her name and I heard her giggling. This munchkin had crawled under her crib and was just hanging out in her infant bathtub! When I picked up her crib ruffle, she burst out laughing! There is NEVER a dull moment in my day... and I LOVE it!
This was all before lunch today! ha
