As always, September is full of joy and sadness. It is a month that I start bracing for in August. Not only for the emotional roller coaster due to births and deaths; but also due to the transitions it brings as our children have gotten older. Ceilidh starts school the last week of August and Jane and Graeme start preschool after Labor Day. I start lesson planning for preschool, choreographing for the Fall ballet, and this year I started coaching Graeme's indoor soccer team. I'm exhausted just writing that sentence. ;) Saying that though, preschool is going really well. I love the classroom, and I'm so thankful this opportunity arose for me! Graeme had his first soccer game tonight and he loved it! He was tired, but I think he enjoyed finally getting to play a game after a few weeks of practice. Ceilidh has gotten up every morning this school year, glad to be going to school! I am SO thankful for this!
September always reminds me to be thankful, even in my sadness.
