#NakedandAfraid

Andrew and I love the show 'Naked and Afraid.' It is crazy. People get dropped off in crazy climates (deserts, islands, the Amazon, etc) totally naked, without water or food, and only one survival tool. They then have to survive for 21 days with a partner... awkward and awesome wrapped up into one! Ha So, why this is relevant? We have 2 show contestants in the making that live at our house. Last Sunday on the show, the two survivalists took two days to catch an elusive lizard. It only takes Graeme one hour in the front yard. Take that 'Naked and Afraid!' ;)

I found this pad laying around in her room. This makes my heart smile.  When I get a chance, I will post the book she wrote about volcanos. It is actually pretty impressive. 

Would leave the house like this everyday if I let her. Ha And since I don't allow this outside the home, she demands dresses. ;)

They put on a performance complete with leotards and lipstick.  Maybe I will get a dancer out of the bunch.  :0

Jane the comedian

So, initially I thought Graeme would be our jokester. Even though he has his moments, I do believe Jane might take that title hands down. She loves to be goofy. If she knows she is making you laugh, she will continue to say/do it until you have to ignore her in order for her to stop. ;) Some of my favorite from the last couple of days....

Me: What colors do you see? Which is your favorite?
Jane: Red, blue, purple. I like purple. (Said in a very 'duh' sort of way!) ;)
Me: Do you like horses?
Jane: I like Lizzy.
As Andrew said when I texted him that convo; that is the most well loved dog on the planet. HA

Spring is in the air!

Other than everyone waking up this morning at 7:35 due to Daylight Savings; I am VERY excited for warmer weather, blooming nature, and longer days! Oh, and did I mention Ceilidh's school day begins at 7:30. Opps..... Ha! We/I have lots of things brewing for the next couple of months that I can't wait to share when all details are worked out. Stayed tuned! ;) I just wanted to share a few pictures from my big girl's weekend with Ceilidh and my mom to see the ballet, 'Cinderella.' We had a great time. The ballet was lovely, and Ceilidh really enjoyed having all of everyone's attention. :) We even had a little birthday party for mom and my BIL the night after the matinee. Fun, fun, fun!
